Swift: Zero to Hero for Mac

The Mac app collects no data. Your progress and your code are saved only on your Mac. Exercises run with the Swift compiler on your Mac, so your code is never sent anywhere. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

The website

You can read every lesson without an account. Running code and keeping your progress across devices needs an Asteria account, which you sign in to with Asteria Social.

• What we keep: your account name, the lessons you finish, and the code that passed each lesson, so you can come back to it.
• Running code: when you press Run, your code is sent to our server, compiled, run in a sandbox and then deleted. We count runs per hour to keep the service fair.
• Without an account: your progress is kept in your own browser.
• Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account and everything linked to it at any time, and we will. Write to us through Asteria Technology.
